Domhnall Gleeson has his first turn as a romantic leading man in this Richard Curtis comedy. He plays a man who discovers he can travel through time, and uses it to improve his love life. Rachel McAdams and Bill Nighy co-star.

What Are You Eating? (RTÉ One, 8.30pm)

Last week, Philip Boucher-Hayes greatly upset the people of Ireland by revealing the true contents of the chicken fillet roll, so what’s he turning his eye to this week? Cheese. Yes, we can’t even have cheese. #whatareyoueating

MasterChef (BBC1, 8pm)

Five more hopefuls try to convince judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace that they should be champion. In the first challenge, the chefs whip up their signature dish – and in the second, they’re challenged to invent a whole new one. #masterchef

Everybody’s talking about: Red Rock

The BBC has acquired TV3 soap Red Rock, which will be added to its daytime schedule later this year.

The show will be broadcast in 60-minute episodes, with the BBC’s Dan McGolpin describing it as a ‘compelling new police drama’ with ‘plenty of twists and turns’. G’wan the lads.
